RofC Disburses >$3000 in Funds
During our late Novermber General Meeting we examined a variety of funding requests. The following is a summary of the funding we authorized:
- Dunsmuir Middle School - Breakfast Programme [$500.00]
- Burnside Gorge Community Association - Burnside Youth Centre's After School Program [$1,000.00 www.burnside.city.victoria.bc.ca]
- Mount St. Mary Foundation - Mattress Drive [$500.00 www.msmfoundation.ca]
- Opportunitas Aequa - Project Eduador (soccer supplies for less fortunate children) [$500.00 www.givemeaning.com]
- Operation Mengo - Saturday Morning Club (HIV/AIDS children in Uganda) [$500.00 www.afrikids.org/new/main.php]
- Shoes for Youth - (Local Shoe recipients) [$495.78]
