Tibetan Flag Run - this Saturday 8th March

This Saturday (March 8th) we will be once again holding our Tibetan Flag Run for the 9th year running.

This mellow run takes us from the top of Mount Tolmie down to City Hall where we hand off a number of Tibet Flags to the annual Peace Rally that will be assembled there. This hand off happens at 12:30 after which point you can carry on with your day or you can join the peace rally/walk down to the legislature.

tibet_flag_runIt would be great to have bunch of RofC members participate with us – note: this is not a race! But a fun social run to support a meaningful cause.

If you are interested you can do one of two things:
1. Meet at the top of Mount Tolmie @ 11:15 AM
2. Meet at Frontrunners @ 10:45 AM where Rob is willing to shuttle people who require a ride up to Mt. Tolmie.

If you are interested in this option, please e-mail Rob at rob@frontrunners.ca or 216-2305 to RSVP.
